Mohammad Kabir holds his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) and Masters (MS) in Emphasized in Highway and Transportation, and Structural Engineering from South Dakota State University (SDSU). Mohammad began his career working in large consulting engineering firms in Bangladesh when he eventually started his own engineering firm in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Kabir immigrated to the United States in the early 90’s where he received his Masters then eventually settled down in the DFW metroplex, working for well reputed engineering firms throughout the decades.
Despite a looming recession, Mohammad was able to successfully found MK Engineers and Associates, Inc. in December 2007. Mohammad found a knowledgeable and dedicated team who worked hard during the recession to bring MK Engineers and Associates up to a well known and dependable structural engineering firm here in the Dallas-Fortworth Metroplex.
As lead Structural Engineer, Mohammad works with project engineers to guide all aspects of the structural analysis and design and coordinate with the clients and other consultants throughout the construction documents process.
Being the Chief Executive officer (CEO) of the firm, he performs all management related tasks, dealing contracts with clients, ensures the quality of the production documents and client satisfaction.
Mohammad’s portfolio includes a variety of large, structural projects mainly Mid-Rise Hospitality, Multi-Use and commercial project around the metroplex and other cities primarily in the South and Southwest.
Gerald Mowinkel holds his Master of Science (MS), Emphasized structural engineering form University of Nebraska. In his 54 years of professional career he served many structural engineering firms in united states.
In February 2008, he joined with MK Engineers and Associates Inc.
As lead Structural Engineer, Gerald works with project engineers to guide all aspects of the structural analysis and design and coordinate with the clients and other consultants throughout the construction documents process
Khoi Dinh holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis from the University of Texas at Arlington. Joined MK Engineer and Associates Inc team in 2014, Mr. Dinh currently has over six years of experience performing structural design, inspection, and forensic investigation of planned and existing structures. Mr. Dinh’s structural design services include modeling, analysis and engineering of large, custom single-family residences, multi-family apartment/condominium, complexes, hotels, low-rise commercial/religious facilities, warehouses, and ancillary structures (retaining walls, screen walls, free standing frames). Mr. Dinh also performs construction phase observations of the aforementioned structures system to verify design compliance.
Jojan is a Senior Structural CAD Designer at MK Engineers and Associates, Plano. An expert in Autocad, he joined MKEA in 2017 and works closely with our engineers to produce working drawings and he collaborates with architects and other consultants to coordinate drawings. His project experience includes higher education, health care, high-rise residential, convention centers, religious facilities and commercial buildings.
Before working here, he worked as an Autocad Drafter at New Form Engineering consultant, Sharjah, UAE from Nov 1997 to Aug 1999 and at Al Salaam Consulting – Architects, Engineers & Planners in Abu Dhabi, UAE from Oct 1999 to April 2016.
