Mohammad Kabir holds his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) in 1982 and Masters (MS) in Emphasized in Highway and Transportation, and Structural Engineering from South Dakota State University (SDSU). Mohammad began his career working in large consulting engineering firms in Bangladesh when he eventually started his own engineering firm in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Kabir immigrated to the United States in the early 90’s where he received his Masters then eventually settled down in the DFW metroplex, working for well reputed engineering firms throughout the decades.

Despite a looming recession, Mohammad was able to successfully found MK Engineers and Associates, Inc. in December 2007. Mohammad found a knowledgeable and dedicated team who worked hard during the recession to bring MK Engineers and Associates up to a well known and dependable structural engineering firm here in the Dallas-Fortworth Metroplex.

As lead Structural Engineer, Mohammad works with project engineers to guide all aspects of the structural analysis and design and coordinate with the clients and other consultants throughout the construction documents process.

Being the Chief Executive officer (CEO) of the firm, he performs all management related tasks, dealing contracts with clients, ensures the quality of the production documents and client satisfaction.

Mohammad’s 38 years of portfolio includes a variety of large, structural projects mainly Mid-Rise Hospitality, Multi-Use and commercial project around the metroplex and other cities primarily in the South and Southwest.
